In 1982, George Keushguerian opened a humble computer shop in Glendale, California. He wasn’t a baker, but he quickly found himself surrounded by them. Hardworking, no-nonsense people who were up before dawn and running operations most others didn’t fully understand. As George listened to their frustrations about order tracking, production bottlenecks, and inventory headaches, he realized they didn’t need just computers. They needed software built for them.
So in 1987, George stopped selling hardware and started solving problems. He created Z-Bake, one of the first management tools designed specifically for bakeries. It wasn’t flashy, but it worked. It helped bakers get ahead of production, manage bulk orders, and stay organized under pressure.
That was the beginning of MyOnlineBakery.
Over the next four decades, we’ve grown alongside the bakers we serve—expanding into full ERP solutions tailored for bakery operations, and moving to the cloud in 2008 to make everything more accessible and efficient. Today, we support hundreds of bakeries across North America, staying true to George’s original vision: create technology that makes life easier for bakers.
